It will remain mainly sunny this afternoon. For the most part, only harmless cumulus clouds will form, and the likelihood of thunderstorms will remain low across most of the region; it is only towards the evening that thunderstorms may develop in some places.

General situation
The high-pressure system will weaken temporarily, and a weather system will cross the alpine region from the west as the day progresses.
To begin with, there will be some sunshine at times. Around midday, a few showers will sweep in from the west, and isolated thunderstorms are also possible. Afterwards, the skies will clear again and a northerly wind will pick up in many valleys.
Temperatures will reach highs of between 22° and 29°.

Forecast

On Wednesday, it will be mainly sunny with a few patches of high cloud.
On Thursday, there will be a few thicker clouds and isolated rain showers, particularly in the northern parts of the region. Further south, the weather is expected to remain fairer.
On Friday, the sun will shine across much of the region, with only a few harmless clouds in the sky.
Saturday will start off sunny. As the day progresses, some larger cumulus clouds will form and the likelihood of thunderstorms will increase in places.
