General situation

With the strong north-westerly flow, moist air masses will continue to accumulate on the main alpine crest.

On Tuesday, the weather will remain unsettled in the northern parts of the region with lots of clouds and some snowfall. Towards the south, the clouds will break up and it will be sunnier. A north foehn wind will blow in some valleys.

Afternoon temperatures will range between 4° in Sterzing and 13° in Bolzano.

Wednesday is expected to bring a mixture of cloudy skies and some sunshine, with the north wind weakening.
Thursday will be cloudy with rain and snowfall. The snow line will rise from low-lying areas to an altitude of 1000 m.
On Friday, the clouds will break up and the sun will shine frequently with a north foehn wind.
On Saturday, thicker clouds will reappear and the sun will only shine intermittently. There may be some snowfall in the north during the day.
