General situation

A westerly upper-level flow brings moist and relatively mild Atlantic air to the Alps.

The precipitation will subside in the morning and the clouds will clear up somewhat during the day. Conditions will remain more changeable on the main Alpine ridge.

Temperatures will rise to a maximum of 4° in the upper Puster Valley and 11° in the lowlands.

Weather forecast

Clouds will continue to dominate on Thursday. Some precipitation is possible, especially in the north of the region. The snow line will rise to over 1000 m.
Friday will bring a pleasant mix of sun and clouds. Conditions will remain changeable for longer near the border with North Tyrol.
On Saturday, clouds will dominate and there will be some precipitation at times. Towards evening, the north foehn will pick up.
On Sunday, the weather will improve, with gusty north winds in some of the valleys.
